Being a retired teacher I am passionately devoted
to my hobby.
As very eclectic amateur painter I use dry pastel,
charcoal, red chalk, acrylic, gouache, ink.
I work on canvas, paper, wood. I like giving
free rein to my imagination, but try to be very
strict in drawing.
Here I have incorporated photographs in my
paintings and used pitch and acrylic.
I’m learning different techniques with
Claire Hennebert at the “Ateliers du Bout
de Monde” in Wavre and also attend the
drawing lessons by Béatrice Vastrade
in Braine l’Alleud.
I was given the second prize for painting of
Gottignies, assigned by the “Management
for cultural affairs” (Direction des Affaires
culturelles) of Hainaut.
In 2005 the jury of this competition awarded
one of my paintings.
